Westbury Track 2
bass Guitar by Matsumoku
What a great little bass! These were made by Matsumoku from 1978 to 1982. The workmanship and choice of materials is first rate.
The body is round and small, about 1 3/4" thick, with two matched cutaways; the shape is very reminicient of a Melody Maker or Les Paul jr. Beautiful Antique Walnut finish. There is a hip contour on the back. It has what is possibly the coolest pickguard I have ever seen: a graceful, elongated "8" running down the center of the body, with a cutout at the bottom for the bridge. The neck has a beefy U-shaped profile very similar to a Fender P-bass. The headstock design is the same Matsumoku design found on Aria and Vantage basses of that era. To summarize, this would be the result if Gibson decided to re-design the P-bass.
pas tout compris mais ça a l'air bien sympa !
un chevalet guibson sg bass, un micro PB Dimarzio US, le shape est japonais.
quelquen connais ce Matsumoku ?
